Historically, Willbros participated in the construction of much of the existing energy transportation infrastructure in the North Africa Region. North Africa continues today to be a focus of diversification and expansion for Willbros as the increase in exploration and production activity in the southern Mediterranean and on-shore North Africa continues. From our existing office in Tripoli, Libya, Willbros provides program/project management, engineering, onshore construction (including EPC services), and maintenance services to major industry producers and to the government oil ministries of North Africa. Willbros specializes in engineering and design of pipelines and associated facilities for onshore and coastal locations and also delivers engineering, construction management, and maintenance services to downstream transportation, storage, and refining facilities. Willbros’ continuous presence in North Africa (Libya) enhances our ability to deliver unique and highly technical solutions for our clients in the region and in most cases by employing the local workforce.
