Willbros has constructed over 200,000 kilometers of pipelines around the world. Our experience includes small diameter lines for gathering and transmission as well as large diameter cross country pipelines such as the TransAlaska pipeline. We have installed pipelines in frozen tundra, the deserts of the Middle East, the swamps and marshes of Nigeria, the Andes Mountains and offshore West Africa. Willbros has constructed five pipelines crossing the Andes Mountains and holds the altitude record for the highest pipeline ever constructed.  Willbros owns or leases the specialized equipment necessary to perform the work and can complete most projects entirely with its own forces and equipment.
