Hurricane Harvey Memo
Dear Clients and Colleagues:
South Texas has been devastated by Hurricane and Tropical Storm Harvey, disrupting the lives of nearly seven million local residents.
Over the past few days, our company’s chief concern has been the health and welfare of our employees and in supporting our community. We have worked to ensure we are in contact with all of our Houston-based teams. Additionally, due to the flooding from the hurricane’s unrelenting rains, we have temporarily closed our Houston area offices until it is safe to travel.
Willbros is fully committed to serving our business partners in all nationwide locations. Our systems are designed to allow for robust remote access to our secure network by all of our business segments and our crews are continuing to work with our clients to insure their projects proceed as scheduled during these difficult times. Although electricity and internet connections in Houston have been inconsistent, Willbros teams throughout the state have been able to continue meeting our customers’ needs. Willbros Transmission & Distribution teams are working long hours to restore power to our local communities as swiftly as possible.
For those of you currently impacted by Hurricane Harvey, please know we are actively working to assist you.
